Bogdan Ionescu aka Johnson s-a nascut pe 18 Iulie 1980, in Bucuresti. Si-a descoperit pasiunea pentru muzica electronica la varsta de 16 ani cand a pasit pentru prima data in clubul Studio Martin. A inceput sa mixeze la varsta de 22 de ani, combinand stilurile deep house, progresive house, funky si dark iar acum se axeaza pe deep house, tech house si techno – stilul lui fiind de fapt o combinatie perfecta intre old skool, sunete fresh, percutie, groove si voci uplifting. A mixat in locuri ca Studio Martin (unde a impartit pupitrul cu Hernan Cattaneo), Newton Bar, Turabo Cafe, Persepolis Pool, Allure, Zvon and Ultima Playa, toate in Romania, dar favoritele lui fiind petrecerile private. Admira producatori ca Inland Knights, Chris Simmonds, Chris Carrier, Dan Andrei, Livio & Roby, Moodymann si respecta Dj ca Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Tania Vulcano, A:rpi:ar, Andrew Grant, Loco Dice si multi altii.

Bogdan Ionescu aka Johnson, was born in 1980, on July 18th, in Bucharest. He discovered his passion for electronic music when he was 16 years old, when he went for the first time in Studio Martin club. He started mixing at the age of 22, combining deep house, progressive house, funky and dark, but now he is mixing deep, tech house and techno – his style, is all about joining together old skool, fresh sound, percusion, groove and uplifting vocals. He mixed in places such as Studio Martin (where he shared the booth with Hernan Cattaneo), Newton Bar, Turabo Cafe, Persepolis Pool, Allure, Zvon and Ultima Playa, all in Romania, but his favourites remain private parties. He admires producers such as Inland Knights, Chris Simmonds, Chris Carrier, Dan Andrei, Livio & Roby, Moodymann and respects Djs such as Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Tania Vulcano, A:rpi:ar, Andrew Grant, Loco Dice and many more.
